Good luck!
Think about all the geometric figures and polygons we've studied and explored and go on a Geometry Search. We found examples of geometric figures in magazines, now try and find examples in your own house. Can you find any perpendicular lines? Obtuse angles? Quadrilaterals? Hexagons? Use your math notebook as a guide for what geometric figures and polygons to look for, and post your findings in the comment section of this post.
Good luck!

I have seen parallel lines on our piano and fireplace. I saw perpendicular lines in our ceramic tile. Our walls make right angles. We have a corner lamp that has a shade that makes obtuse angles. The handle on our shutters make a line segment.

In my house my kitchen cabinets are a rectangle, I have a hexagon shaped toothpick ferris wheel on my computer desk, my computer desk has an acute angle on the shelf, the counter has a right angle, the dining room chairs have parallel lines on them, and our buffet has intersecting lines on the doors.
